Michael Giacchino Wow

People complaining that they won't buy this album because they only want the one Stevie Nicks song and it's album only. This is sad. Michael Giacchino is the best composer in the business right now and this new music from him shows us, again, why that is true. His music always offers a sense of longing and hope (see the scores for Lost, Alias, John Carter, Inside Out, Rogue One, the upcoming Spider-Man Homecoming) dosed with a flair for style and exciting, tension-building symphonic compositions (see same scores above). He doesn't disappoint here, from the beautiful, thematic (almost throwback?) piano in Overture to the thoughtful, moving strings of Closing the Book on Henry. Sit back and just listen.

A note: Giving this album one star because you don't know him and all you do know is pop music is a shame. Please people, listen to the score in full and then make a decision, but don't give it one star before you listen to it because it's not what you thought you wanted. Music opens minds; so let it. What an injustice!

I love this new song preformed by Stevie Nicks as soon as I heard it on YouTube. Come to iTunes to buy it and can only purchase the instrumental songs that no one wants but cant purchase the Stevie Nicks song.
