Public Reviews for I See Stars – Treehouse From Itunes:

Awesome
Such a new feel compared to their old stuff, clean crisp vocals with good screams mixed in. Awesome album! By Mike W851
The best yet
Compared to all their other albums. This is the absolute best they’ve been. Losing Zach was the best thing that ever happened to this band. Their other albums were around 3 stars but almost every single track on this album is perfect. Go Devin and Andrew. You guys are doing great. By Jaynoble18
This Album is worth the listen
From the tense atmosphere on songs like Calm Snow and White lies to some catchy hooks like on Two Hearted to some greatly delivered raw screams on Portals or Mobbin Out this album is a fantastic listen and I personally love the change in sound for this group. The only weak parts on this album in my opinion are All in and Walking on gravestones but overall I still enjoy those tracks. Give this album a chance and you won't be disappointed. By ChunnyBear
Still Not Disappointed
I finally took time to listen to this album as a whole in one sitting. Light in the Cave and Calm Snow were instant loves for me a long time ago, but I hadn’t yet given the other songs the attention they deserved. After coming back to this album some time later I felt so impressed by Two Hearted, Yellow King, and Mobbin’ Out, and more. There isn’t a bad track on this album. The lineup is absolutely fantastic. Devin taking on unclean vocals is great by me, and I appreciate them letting Andy’s voice shine through as well. They’re still brutal as ever with less screaming. The band is doing great; no one needs to stop what’s going on. I’ve seen the band grow since Digital Renegade and it continues to be unique while still making songs that are amazing. Can’t wait for more from the Michigan boys. By amanda.xe

In Love With The Matured Sound
I am a fan start to finish; from their very first album to Treehouse. I love this tight, matured sound they whipped up. I think it's an amazing album and everyone should give it a shot. By Smahain6
Why?
I know this is extremely cliche, but the total lack of Zach and Jimmy equals not ISS. Zach's exit honestly wasn't that surprising because he was left out of the Phases acoustic tour, but no Jimmy equals no good guitar work. Not to mention Devin's screams are terrible as lead. If there's at least an actual screamer to replace Zach it would be more acceptable, even though you can't replace him and sound just as sick, and the same goes for Jimmy. Not to mention I don't even hear the electronic sounds they used in the past unless that's just terrible production. It's fine if they're leaning towards dropping the electronicore sound and going plain metalcore but the music without Zach or Jimmy is just horrible. I hate to be this critical because they're my favorite metalcore band, but these guys are downhill without those two. I do not understand how people can give this a rating higher than two. It's just as illogical as if FFAK thought it would be a good idea to boot Kirby or Jared from their band. Also as illogical as Telle getting lazier and lazier on vocals and radio friendly after one release and not to mention their total lack of heavy now. I can't say I'll listen to any more of their future content unless they up their game in some way or another, but I seriously doubt they will. Every band can go through tough moments through change in musical direction but I never expected ISS to do it this way. I'll still listen to their old stuff but for the record, RIP ISS. Who says change has to be bad?
Even though Zach is gone, this I See Stars album rips. By Sugarbehr
Keep an open Mind
What a metamorphosis. A band that can change their sound like this in such a short period of time but not cut ties completely to how they started off sounding like is respectable. It's nice to a have a variety within a band. These dudes stay killin' it. By VolcomStoned26
